The self-cleaning filter is used on oil or other liquid pipelines to filter debris from the pipeline and has a filtering pore area greater than 2-3 times the diameter of the pipeline area. It far exceeds the filtering area of Y- and T-type filters. The accuracy of the filter belongs to a filter with much higher accuracy. The structure of the filter is different from other filters. It is called a blue filter because it is shaped like a basket.
The self-cleaning filter consists of a pipe, cylinder, filter basket, flange, flange cover and fasteners. Installed in the pipeline can remove a large number of solid impurities in the fluid, so that mechanical equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments can work and operate properly to stabilize the process and ensure production safety.
Blue Filter
After installation of the pipeline, other debris will be carried into the pipeline and the raw material contains debris in the production process. As the liquid in the pipeline passes through the filter, its dirt is stored in the filter and the lid can be cleaned by opening the lid to some extent.
Blue filter selection principles
1, Inlet and outlet diameters.
In principle, the inlet and outlet diameters of the filter should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, which is usually the same as the inlet pipe diameter.
2, Nominal pressure.
Determine the pressure level of the filter based on the higher pressure in the filter line.
3, the choice of the number of holes.
The main consideration is the particle size of the impurities to be intercepted, which depends on the process requirements of the media process. Check the screen size of the screen to understand the various screen sizes.
