AFM scraper type self-cleaning filter specifications, application scenarios and installation notes

2021-05-08

  1. Shanghai Jiucheng AFM scraper-type self-cleaning filter is a kind of filter that directly intercepts impurities in the water, removes suspended solids and particles in the water body, reduces turbidity, purifies water quality, and reduces system dirt, bacteria, algae, rust, etc. For equipment that purifies water quality and protects the normal working of other equipment in the system, water enters the body of the self-cleaning filter through the water inlet. Due to the intelligent (PLC, PAC) design, the system can automatically identify the degree of impurity deposition and send the sewage valve signal to automatically discharge the sewage.

  2. Equipment parameters:

    Filter area (cm²)  2300  4500  8000  2100  4000  8000  100  5500

    Filtration accuracy  30-3000 microns

    *Ideal flow (m³/h) 20  50  80  20  50  80  10  60

    motor  Power 180W, three-phase, 380V, 50HZ

Pneumatic drain valve  Gas source requirements: 5 SCFM (m³/h); pressure 0.4 ~ 0.8MPa

    control box  220V, 50HZ

The scraper filter is different from the recoil type self-cleaning water filter. The scraper filter is not only used for water filtration, but also widely used for the self-cleaning and filtration of viscous materials such as solvents, acids and alkalis, polymers, coatings, etc., with higher efficiency High, precision range of 30-3000 microns, can handle liquids with a viscosity of up to 800,000 centipoise, used in water treatment, petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, fine chemicals, coatings, ink, paper, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, metal processing and other industries. The ring scraper filter, fully automatic operation, high filtration accuracy, stable and reliable performance, is the effective choice to replace the traditional manual filter or the use of disposable filter media. In many fields, it can replace the traditional filter filter, Bag filter, basket filter, vibrating screen filter, etc.

Water enters from the inlet, first passes through the coarse filter to filter out larger particles of impurities, and then reaches the fine filter. During the filtration process, the fine filter gradually accumulates dirt and impurities in the water to form a filter impurity layer. Because the impurity layer is accumulated on the inside of the fine filter, a pressure difference is formed between the inner and outer sides of the fine filter. . When the pressure difference of the filter reaches the preset value, the automatic cleaning process will start. During this time, the clean water supply is continuously flowing, the cleaning valve is opened, and the water pressure in the cleaning chamber and the sewage suction device drops significantly, passing through the filter cartridge and the sewage suction pipe. Due to the pressure difference, a suction force is generated between the suction pipe and the cleaning chamber through the suction nozzle, forming a dirt suction process. At the same time, the electric motor drives the sewage suction pipe to make a spiral movement in the axial direction. The combination of axial movement and rotary movement of the dirt sucker cleans the entire inner surface of the filter. The entire flushing process only takes tens of seconds. The drain valve is closed at the end of cleaning. The filter is ready for the next flush cycle.

The water to be treated enters the body through the water inlet, and the impurities in the water are deposited on the filter screen, resulting in a pressure difference. The pressure difference between the inlet and outlet is monitored by the pressure difference switch. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, the electronic controller sends a signal to the drive motor, triggering the following actions: the motor drives the scraper to rotate to clean the filter element, and the control valve opens to discharge the sewage. The cleaning process only lasts for tens of seconds. When the cleaning is over, the control valve is closed, the motor stops rotating, and the system returns to its initial state and begins to enter the next filtration process.

Installation Precautions

  1. The equipment should be installed by-pass, so that the equipment can be overhauled and maintained without shutting down.

  2. The equipment can be installed horizontally or vertically according to the site conditions. The equipment needs to be connected to the pipeline according to the direction of the water inlet and outlet. When installed vertically, the water inlet of the equipment faces upwards, and when installed horizontally, the sewage outlets face downwards.

  3. Valves should be installed at the water inlet, outlet and drain of the equipment (the drain valve should be a quick valve).
